［来歴］
2018年
上西隆史が数年に及ぶ試行錯誤と鍛錬の末にAIRFOOTWORKSを結成。
SNSで話題となりテレビ番組に多数出演。
2020年
コロナ禍でパフォーマンスの場が失われるも、上西隆史は独学でグラフィック映像の制作技術を習得。この過程でSNSでも度々話題になる身体×映像のショート作品をいくつも展開していく。
2021年
上西隆史は単独公演『CUBISM』を開催する。この公演を機にAIRFOOTWORKSはSNSでは見ることのできない「生のパフォーマンス」
を至上とする方針になっていく。
2023年
『Japan's Got Talent』に出場
コロナ禍あけの初の大舞台でファイナルステージに進出。身体表現のパフォーマーとしては全出演者の中で唯一の決勝進出となった。
2024年
『America’s Got Talent』に出場。
準々決勝では審査員である Simon Cowell と Howie Mandel が
ゴールデンブザーを奪い合うハプニング起こすほどの熱狂を巻き起こし
『ファイナリスト』ゴールデンブザーを獲得、決勝に進出する。
※パフォーマンスは翌年に『Greatest Golden Buzzers!』（歴代最高のゴールデンブザー）
の一つに選出された。
また、日本で開催された『THE DANCE DAY2024』においてはファーストステージでは歴代最高得点を獲得する。
※700点満点中696点を獲得。
2025年
ギネス記録に挑戦する番組『Lo Show dei Record（イタリア）』に出演。
「シンクロ合体前回り」でギネス世界記録を達成する。
『Tu Si Que Vales（イタリア）』に出場
スタンディングオベーションとなり観客と審査員の満場一致を得て、決勝にダイレクトに進出した。
『France's Got Talent』に出場（フランス）
予選、準々決勝、準決勝で進化を見せ続け、
辛口で知られる審査員の大絶賛を浴びて、決勝に進出。
『Royal Variety Performance（イギリス）』
100年以上の歴史を持つイギリス王室公認の舞台に招待され出演
ウィリアム王子と謁見を果たした。
日本、アメリカ、イタリア、フランス
世界のトップタレントが集う舞台において、すべて決勝進出。
この偉業を成し遂げた日本チームは、AIRFOOTWORKSただ一つ。
その軌跡は、日本初であり、世界的に見ても極めて異例であり、
AIRFOOTWORKSの表現が文化、国、言語、あらゆる境界を超えて、
世界で評価されていることを示している。
しかしAIRFOOTWORKSは、止まらない。

AIRFOOTWORKS
The world’s first **AIRDANCE** (horizontal bar dance) unit.
A groundbreaking form of expression using the horizontal bar.
A one-of-a-kind performance that fuses space, the human body, and visual technique.
In **2018**, Takashi Jonishi founded AIRFOOTWORKS, a performance unit centered around the horizontal bar. Through relentless training and steady dedication, the group gained viral attention on social media and appeared on numerous television programs.
In **2020**, although performance opportunities were lost during the COVID-19 pandemic, Takashi Jonishi continued exploring the possibilities of physical expression while independently mastering visual production techniques.
In **2023**, AIRFOOTWORKS competed on Japan’s Got Talent and advanced to the Final Stage in their first major stage appearance after the COVID-19 pandemic.
In **2024** and **2025**, they appeared on **THE DANCE DAY 2024**, held in Japan, advancing to the Final Stage for two consecutive years. In the 2024 First Stage, they achieved the highest score in the show’s history.
The stage then expanded to the world.
In **2024**, AIRFOOTWORKS competed on **America’s Got Talent**.
During the quarterfinals, judges **Simon Cowell** and **Howie Mandel** became so enthusiastic that they competed to press the Golden Buzzer.
AIRFOOTWORKS received the **Golden Buzzer as finalists** and advanced to the Grand Final.
Their semifinal performance was later selected the following year as one of the **“Greatest Golden Buzzers!”** in the show’s history.
And beyond that, to the world again.
In **2025**, they appeared on **Lo Show dei Record** (Italy), a program challenging Guinness World Records, and successfully set a Guinness World Record with their synchronized forward rotation combination move.
In **2025**, they competed on **Tu Si Que Vales** (Italy).
They received a standing ovation, unanimous praise from both audience and judges, and advanced to the final.
In **2025**, they competed on **France’s Got Talent** (France).
They continued to evolve through the audition round, quarterfinals, and semifinals, earning overwhelming praise from judges known for their strict criticism, and advanced to the final.
In **2025**, AIRFOOTWORKS was invited to perform at the **Royal Variety Performance** (United Kingdom), the prestigious stage officially recognized by the British Royal Family with over 100 years of history.
They also had the honor of meeting **Prince William**.
